Could you run esxtop to check if any RDY or CSTP value are high for VM?
I think allocate 10 core can be bottleneck for scheduling.

Hi All,
I'm running Fusion 8 on a Mac Yosemite.
It runs very smoothly except for the display options.
I can't find out how to retain my view of the Mac Dock (bottom of the screen) and the Mac Menu Bar (top of the screen) when I'm working in Windows.
Is there a way?
all offers of help much appreciated.
Howdy -
I'm building out an instant clone based VDI environment. Early in the build we discovered that one of our business critical applications was built around the MS ClickOnce technology/framework.
After some frustrating conversations with the developers I was eventually able to capture the data with UEM and make it persist for the users.
Fast forward a month or so, and I'm having some folks on my team who are eating our dog food, ask about Github Desktop and Atom (python editor). Low and, behold I discover they are also ClickOnce apps.
I whip up a UEM profile that captures them, and to my dismay I now discover that my login time has jumped to just about 2 minutes due to UEM having to process and unpack nearly 700 MB of archives for just these two apps.
Needless to say, this isn't optimal. After discussions with another teammate we pondered the idea of updating our gold image to point the LocalAppdata directory to the users profile share, which would allow us to not have to deal with creating UEM profiles for ClickOnce apps. Thinapp also sounds like another option, but given that ClickOnce apps can be installed without admin privileges. User conditioning to being able to install those sorts of apps, and my team already being overloaded with other onboarding activites and appstack creation, I'm worried that adding various Thinapp packaging to the flow, which we had hoped to avoid, isn't scalable for an unknown period of time.
I'd appreciate any and all feedback.
O, I just found it,...duh
Select View|Single Window.
Hope this query helps someone else
Why not have a different Golden image for your AppDEv team? Does your General population need these apps?
How are you deploying the Clickonce apps now without UEM profiles?
Thanks.
The NTP & DNS settings all are fine.
The strange thing is that the instalation status of 'Not Ready' is showing only at the cluster level. Under the cluster there are 5 hosts in which there is no error displayed,.
All the hosts are showing green tick mark. Also there is no impact as such now & all the VMs in that clusters are working fine.
But not sure why this Not Ready message is shown under cluster level.
I checked the vCenter logs - nothing found
The ESX agencies under vCenter ESX Agent Manager all the status are up.
Need to check ESXi hosts logs which is pending.
I see the failure when Persona failed to set security attributes of media player database file.

As workaround, you need to exclude "Media Player" folder in exclusion list of roaming using GPO.
See the comment in GPO on how to exclude a folder
Below is the blog from Brad Hedlund explaining why there should be no dynamic routing over vPC peer links. The same applies in the NSX environment as well.
What does a separate image buy me?
In our legacy VDI environment (manually provisioned full clones) and our physical environment the click once applications are installed as needed by the users.
ETA: None of these applications are general population apps. The original ClickOnce is used by a relatively large number of business users (400-500). Github Desktop, Atom, and other ClickOnce apps I have no insight into their population at this time.
Something to consider depending on your Lync Server Config, but you may want to capture the outlook global address book, otherwise searching will not work for a period of time after login (assuming you are doing non-persistent desktops)
There might be intermittent network disconnection issue, and failed to heartbeat ack to vCenter server. How your ESXi host and vCenter server connected ?. During the issue, other machine be connected from corp office ?
Also check ESXi server can be connected at that time from a vSphere client locally.
Can you post the error?
Apologies I miss read your question about the non presistant desktops.
Hi,
We have one SAN application which we need to deploy via ovf on ESX6.5 using web client. We have two ways for deploying the application. One, using the installer through which we are successfully able to deploy it on ESX6.5, however the other method which is through ovf file (size : 17 Kb) and two vmdk files (size : 580 Mb & 67Kb) using vSphere Web Client 6.5,
Using ovf we are not able to deploy and It is giving the below error: :-
"Failed to deploy VM: postNFCData failed"
We have updated the ESXi Embedded Host Client using latest vib file "esxui-signed-4974903.vib" as well but it did not worked.
On searching different forums regarding size restrictions w.r.t different browsers, we opened ESX web client on chrome, Firefox & IE but didn't succeeded.
Can anyone please look into this error & provide us the solution . Please let us know if any other information is required from our side.
I have a 5.5 vCenter Appliance using the embedded database that has Veeam replication running on it (2 hosts - 36 replicas). The inventory service db is up to 28 GB and increasing. How do I purge the inventory service db on an appliance?
VCENTER:~ # du -shc /storage/db/*
28G /storage/db/inventoryservice
76K /storage/db/journal
16K /storage/db/lost+found
8.0K /storage/db/sms
1.4M /storage/db/vmware-vmdir
15G /storage/db/vpostgres
42G total
One missing point is that if you're using Distributed Switch, you will need to move your host to a Standard Switch before remove the host from vCenter.

Yesterday I updated my VMWare Fusion to 8.5.5 after receiving the popup message stating there was an available update. Once the update completed, I launched VMWare Fusion which loaded Windows 7 as normal. I like to use an external monitor to view my Windows 7 box while I view my MacOS Sierra on my retina display. So, after I plugin the VGA to Thunderbolt adapter, my MacBook crashed. Both the external display and MacBook display went black. I powered down the MacBook by holding the power button down for 10 seconds and then pressed the power button again to hopefully turn the MacBook on and resume what I was doing. However, the MacBook continued to display nothing but a black screen. After several SMC and PRAM resets, the MacBook still would not display anything on the screen. I had to leave the MacBook shutdown (with lid closed) for about 30 minutes before I was able to get it to power on successfully with display. After successfully powering on the MacBook, I attempted to my the external display and once again the MacBook crashed. What is going on? Everything was fine until I updated to the new version of VMWare Fusion 8.5.5.
Hello,
My apologies but I'm a little confused with the question.
Your vCentre 5 server would sit on a Windows Based VM, so really shouldn't it be what operating systems are supported with your currently version of VMware Workstation. vCentre 5.0 runs on only the 2003/2008 OS. VMware Workstation 10 supports all Windows Operating Systems.
